Last week, The Maigue Rivers Trust hosted a hugely engaging Farming for Water event in Killuragh, Co. Limerick.
The event brought together the Farming for Water team, Teagasc, Dairygold Agri Business, Kerry Agribusiness, and the Irish Farmers’ Association (IFA) to discuss their role in protecting local water quality and the Maigue River.
The day featured informative talks, practical demonstrations, and valuable discussions between farmers, advisors, and industry partners, all focused on improving water quality and supporting farms within the Maigue catchment.
